Description :

Position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Tele.

Responsibilities include caring for inpatient adults with life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions.

Common cardiovascular diagnoses include but are not limited to sepsis, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and coronary artery disease.

The patient population may include those receiving IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation.

Critical skills include the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.

Unit staff may be required to float to other units as necessary.

Candidates should demonstrate competencies for tasks performed in floating assignments.

Strong interdisciplinary collaboration is emphasized for patient safety.

Charting experience with EPIC is necessary.

All policies and procedures must be followed regarding shift cancellations.
