General Description :
The Development Manager, Donor and Volunteer Engagement will play a key role in supporting the fundraising and engagement efforts of Prism Health North Texas. This role works with the Chief Marketing and Development Officer and Director of Development by focusing on donor engagement, campaign execution, event logistics, volunteer coordination, and operational support. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, project manager, and data-savvy with a heart for community health and equity.

Specific Responsibilities of the Job :
Donor Engagement and Stewardship
Manage donor acknowledgments and basic stewardship efforts to strengthen donor relationships.Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in CRM systems, ensuring timely data entry and reporting.Fundraising Campaigns
Lead planning and execution of annual fundraising campaigns (e.g., Spring Giving, North Texas Giving Day, Year-End Giving).Coordinate with the Marketing team on campaign messaging, materials, and promotion to maximize reach and donor response.Event Management
Organize cultivation and stewardship events targeting mid-level donors ($250–$2,500).Oversee logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, and day-of event execution.Collaborate with the development team on larger signature events.Track and report event performance metrics and outcomes.Volunteer Management
Manage the volunteer CRM platform, including sign-ups, scheduling, and communications.Coordinate with internal teams to identify volunteer opportunities.Recruit, schedule, and support volunteers for events and community outreach.Develop strategies for volunteer recognition and retention; serve as primary contact for volunteers.Track and report volunteer participation and engagement data.Development Operations
Assist with fundraising tracking, reporting, and documentation in coordination with the Director of Development.Provide general administrative and operational support to the development team as needed.Required Skills
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Experience using a CRM or donor database (e.g., Bloomerang, Salesforce, etc.).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred – 3+ years in a nonprofit development role.Preferred – Familiarity with fundraising campaigns such as Giving Days or Year-End Giving.Preferred – Experience in healthcare of social justice nonprofit.Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.3-5 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, event coordination, or volunteer management.
