What You'll Do as a Supervisor Field Operations
As a Supervisor of Field Operations at Lewis Services, you'll :
Oversee operational results of General ForemenSchedule weekly crew visits and provide guidance and supportImplement and monitor the Corporate Safety ProgramCollaborate on accident investigations and resolutionsEnsure high-quality arboricultural work is consistently performedManage equipment maintenance and purchasing proceduresMaintain strong customer relationships and satisfactionEnsure compliance with contract specificationsCommunicate regularly with the Division ManagerReview and estimate fixed-price bid workEngage potential customers as assignedEnforce company policies and proceduresAttend training to enhance business and operational skillsPerform other duties as assignedWhat You Bring
Accountable for the operational results of General ForemenSchedule weekly crew visits with General Foremen, giving guidance, assistance, and supportOversee the implementation of the Corporate Safety Program, training sessions, tailgate meetings, and award programsWork with General Foremen and Corporate Safety investigating and settling accident claims quickly, efficiently, and sensitivelyEnsures that high quality arboricultural work is being performed at all timesEnsures that equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and purchasing policies and procedures are completed properlyContinuous contact with existing customers to ensure customer satisfactionEnsures compliance of all customers' contract specifications and requirementsMaintains open communication with Division Manager on all area operational activitiesAbility to review and / or estimate fixed price lump sum bid workContacts potential customers as assigned by Regional Vice President or Division ManagerUnderstands and enforces all company policies and proceduresAttends internal and external training courses, which pertain to improving and developing job related business management and operational skillsPerforms all other duties as assigned by Division Manager or Regional Vice PresidentPhysical ability to hike, lift up 50 lbs., and handle toolsValid driver's license (CDL preferred)CPR / First Aid certification (provided by Lewis)Herbicide applicator certification (or ability to complete and maintain)Ensure compliance with all applicable state, local, and federal regulationsPhysical Demands
