We are seeking an Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a challenging, fast-paced environment, where you will be at the heart of the legal decision-making process.

Responsibilities :

As an Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate, you will be expected to :

1. Analyze and interpret insurance policies, and provide expert insurance coverage opinions.

2. Handle all aspects of bad faith litigation and the defense of insurers.

3. Exhibit a deep understanding of 93A and tort law, and apply this knowledge in a practical setting.

4. Demonstrate exceptional legal writing skills, drafting clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents, motions, and briefs.

5. Actively participate in trial practice, including the preparation of witnesses, trial strategy, and court appearances.

6. Manage complex commercial litigation cases, working collaboratively with other team members to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients.

7. Stay updated with current trends and changes in insurance law to ensure the firm's compliance and competitiveness.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate position should possess the following qualifications :

1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

2. Admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, membership to other Northeast states is a plus.

3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation, with a focus on insurance policies, bad faith litigation, and defense of insurers.

4. Proficient in insurance law, 93A, and tort law.

5. Exceptional legal writing skills, with the ability to draft compelling legal documents.

6. Proven experience in trial practice and commercial litigation.

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex insurance policies and legal principles.

8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.

9. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

10. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
