Experienced or Senior Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer (Regulatory Compliance)
Location : Berkeley, Missouri (US). This position supports Airworthiness / Flight Certification activities for USAF / USN / Phantom Works / DoD programs.

Responsibilities

- Identifies, analyzes, and assesses regulatory and contractual compliance of aerospace systems, products and services.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to define, validate, and integrate airworthiness and regulatory compliance requirements; incorporates into designs, operations, and procedures.
- Reviews regulatory and customer requirements and evaluates impact to company products and services.
- Analyzes regulatory and certification data for completeness and alignment to regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Develops compliance statements for the airworthiness of aerospace systems and products; researches, investigates and monitors compliance processes or in-service fleet issues; assists with process improvements or corrective actions.
- Supports engaging with regulators on moderately complex programs or initiatives to shape certification approaches, activities, and artifacts.
- Supports partnering with regulatory authorities to complete validation of airworthiness to applicable requirements as authorized.
- Provides technical support, training, tools and resources to the delegated approval organization.
- Develops, reviews, and maintains compliance reports and documents in accordance with applicable requirements and regulations.
- Establishes and promotes global regulatory advocacy trainings, tools, and methods.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
Level 3 : 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Level 4 : 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent non-US qualifications directly related to the work statement.2+ years of experience working with or on an engineering team.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)
An active U.S. Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance.Experience with MIL-HDBK-516C.Experience on multi-disciplinary teams to meet tight schedules.Experience on a large project or program requiring project management tools and processes.Experience with operation of aircraft systems or knowledge of aircraft performance in areas such as aerodynamics, stability and control, propulsion, structures, and mission systems.Experience with planning project budgets and monitoring financial performance.Other Information

Summary Pay Range :
Experienced (Level 3) : $97,750 - $132,250Senior (Level 4) : $119,850 - $162,150Applications for this position will be accepted until Oct. 26, 2025.

Export Control Requirements : This position must meet export control compliance requirements. A "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Relocation : This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Security Clearance : This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. An interim and / or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
