CT Rad Tech Job Details – Palos Heights, IL Location : Palos Heights, Illinois 60463 (Chicago metro area) Healthcare Setting : Interventional Cardiology – Cath Lab Position Type : Locum Tenens / Travel Contract Start Date : October 27, 2025 End Date : January 19, 2026 Contract Duration : 12 weeks Shift : Day shift, 5x8-hour (06 : 30 – 15 : 00) Weekly Hours : 40 Estimated Weekly Salary : $2870 - $2950 On-Call Requirement : Yes Weekend Requirement : Yes Patient Population : Adults and Geriatrics CT Radiologic Technologist Qualifications Minimum 1 year of direct Interventional Cardiology Cath Lab experience Graduate of an accredited radiology program (RT(R)) Active Illinois Radiology License (IDNS) Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) BLS certification (AHA required) ACLS certification (AHA required) CCI RCIS certification preferred Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and clinical charting systems COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical exemptions considered for COVID-19 only) CT Rad Tech Responsibilities – Interventional Cardiology Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures as a CT Technologist Scrub, maintain sterile field, and ensure patient safety during procedures Set up and operate advanced imaging and interventional equipment (Atherectomy devices, IVUS, Rota, Shockwave, Laser) Assist with coronary angiography, AICD placement, ECMO, IABP placement / removal, pacemaker insertion, loop recorders, Watchman procedures, and related interventions Support procedures including PCI, PTCA, TAVR, valvuloplasty, atherectomy, thrombolysis, septal defect closure, coil embolization, pericardiocentesis, and ventricular assist device implantation Recognize and interpret life-threatening arrhythmias and respond appropriately Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, respiratory, pharmacy, rapid response) Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as scheduled Apply now to join our healthcare team as a CT Radiologic Technologist in Palos Heights, IL, and take the next step in your travel healthcare career!
