• Posted : August 19, 2025\n\nSummary\n\nUNIT SUMMARY : Intermediate Care is a 36-bed step down unit which takes care of patients needing closer and in-depth telemetry monitoring. Each room is equipped with hemodynamic monitors and is capable of cardiac telemetry and continuous pulse oximetry for stable and unstable patients. We take care of a wide variety of adult patients with neurologic, respiratory, cardiac, renal, gastrointestinal, genitourinary as well as endocrine and gynecologic conditions. We also provide care for trauma, post-surgical and behavioral patients. \n\nJOB SUMMARY : As a member of the patient care team, the RN provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.\n\nREQUIREMENTS : \n
• Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college\n
• Requires knowledge of a specialized field.\n
• Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing.\n
• Less than 1 year of experience.\n
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse, registered to practice in Maryland.\n
