The posted compensation range of $22.51 - $31.79 / hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Under the direction of the healthcare provider, you'll play a critical role in patient safety and well-being, performing vital preliminary tests and ensuring a smooth patient experience.

You will :

  • Patient Intake & Vitals : Greet / prepare patients; obtain / record vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, resp, height, weight, allergies, meds, presenting problem).
  • Diagnostic Support : Perform routine tests (e.g., EKGs).
  • Medication & Vaccine Admin : Administer ordered medications / vaccines (oral, injection, topical, etc.).
  • Specimen Collection (May be required) : Draw / collect blood samples; prepare specimens for lab analysis.
  • Scheduling & Communication : Schedule diagnostic testing and follow up; communicate test results and plan of care to patients.
  • Room & Equipment Prep : Clean / sterilize instruments; maintain equipment; stock / clean exam rooms; dispose of contaminated items.
  • Documentation : Document patient plan(s) of care, tests, and examination results in medical record.

What You'll Bring :

  • Compassion & Attention to Detail : Precise in tasks, dedicated to patient well-being.
  • Required Education and Experience : High school diploma or GED.
  • Required Licensure and Certifications :
  • AHA BLS certification within thirty (30) days of hire.
  • CHI St. Anthony Hospital is a 25 bed, licensed for 49, faith-based, acute care, level four trauma, critical access hospital and healthcare campus serving the Pendleton, Oregon area for more than 100 years.
