Position summary : The driver position is responsible for delivering petroleum products (fuel, oil, methanol and / or Propane) to Benz Oil customers (local and oilfield) as ordered and adhering to all safety regulations in the hauling, loading and delivery processes.

Starting Wage : $30 / hour DOE
Sign-On Bonus : $2,000 after 6 months
Reports to : Department Manager and / or Dispatch Supervisor

20 days on and 8 days off or 10 days on and 4 days off10-hour days (7 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm)Overtime availableDuties & Responsibilities :
Pre-Trip InspectionsDrive tractor-trailer truck, straight truck, boom truck and / or bobcatComplete paperwork that is neat and legible and submit it in a timely manner (Invoices, JSA’s, BOL’s, etc.)Collect paymentsWork as a team member and respect co-workersAdhere so all safety regulationsTake / follow direction from Dispatch SupervisorAdhere to all company policies and proceduresDeliver and set fuel / propane tanks and cubesLoad, unload, stack or wrap containers, materials, or productsLoad truckFill propane cylinders as needed for customersWork in Warehouse as neededExamine vehicle to detect malfunctions, damage, or maintenance neededTransport petroleum productsVerify the products being delivered match the ordersReport all vehicle maintenance and repairs issues to shop managerService vehicle with water, fuel, or oilMaintain driver log according to I.C.C. regulationsMaintains current training records as advised by safety departmentUse established traffic or transportation proceduresFollow traffic lawsPerform safety inspections in transportation settingSkills & Knowledge :
Use basic math skillsRead maps & use geographic positioning system (GPS)Use local or regional geographical knowledge to transportationUse weighing or measuring devices in transportationLift or move objects up to 75 poundsUse various hand toolsOperate a cell phoneClimb truck laddersDrive truck with capacity greater than 3 tonsOperate cleaning equipmentUse vehicle repair tools or safety equipmentUse truck-mounted hydraulic lifts or other accessoriesQualifications : Class A or B License with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
