Collateral Management Group, Broadly Syndicated Loan (BSL), Vice President
Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation is hiring a Vice President in the Collateral Management Group within the Securitized Products and Capital Solutions (SPCS) Department. The collateral requiring analysis, grading, and coverage supports lending to asset manager customers.
The VP will be responsible for providing primary credit analysis and coverage of Project Finance collateral in the portfolio, and additional coverage of middle-market loans as needed. Responsibilities include the preparation of new credit requests (including fundamental analysis of the company and industry, financial analysis and projections), managing upsize requests, and preparing analysis for reevaluation events as needed. Will serve as the primary point person in the dialogue with counterparts at accounts assigned for collateral coverage. VPs are tasked with reviewing the work of junior team members. Responsibilities also include the review of collateral loan portfolio reports to monitor and address the performance of assigned portfolios.
