Field Sales Engineer – Daikin Applied Americas

Location : Hybrid role based out of eastern Georgia with frequent, local travel to customers and job sites.

Employment Type : Full-time

Seniority Level : Entry level

What You Will Do

Achieve quarterly quotas and annual sales plans.
Obtain and close sales on a monthly basis.
Consistent planning and effective sales activities to maximize selling time with minimal travel and waiting time.
Create short-term and long-range planning for certain projects through intricate progression of customer contacts and cooperation with other Sales Engineers, Sales Agents, Districts, Regions and Headquarters.
Analyze customer needs with respect to several alternate solutions using Daikin Applied air conditioning and refrigeration products, systems and service.
Maintain current knowledge of competitive products and system characteristics, including local competitive pricing, and apply economic considerations : first cost, operating cost, owning cost to projects.
Analyze competitive products and selling techniques.
Perform take-offs of plans and specifications, develop and price the estimate, write the proposal and bid the job with selections of Daikin Applied equipment utilizing competitive advantages.
Prepare and submit all technical data for approval. Review of all submittals and orders prior to processing.

What You Will Bring

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.

2-4 years of related sales experience.

Commercial HVAC equipment experience.

Demonstrated proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel).

Ability to travel to meet with customers regularly.

Experience with Salesforce or any other sales tracking software.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $80,400 - $132,800 in Georgia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a sales incentive plan.
