Tribal Liaison

As a Tribal Liaison, you serve as a bridge between tribal communities and Pinnacle Treatment Centers to enhance culturally responsive mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) services. You will be involved in building relationships with tribal leaders, community members, and service providers to improve access, engagement, and outcomes for Indigenous individuals seeking behavioral health support to improve quality of life.
Pay Range :
$80k / year to $100k / yearBenefits :

Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, psychology, or a related fieldProven track record of establishing and maintaining relationships with Tribal Governments and Executives to assist with navigating services.Possesses demonstrated experience in community engagement and outreach with Tribal GovernmentsMust possess a current valid driver’s license in good standing in state of employment and be insurable by the designated carrier. This role is required to drive for company purposes.Travel at least 75% will be required for this role with the ability to travel to tribal communities when needed.Must live in Northern California regionPreferred
Master’s degreeMember of a federally or state-recognized tribe or have direct experience working withIndigenous populations.
Bilingual in English and a Native languageResponsibilities :
Community Engagement & AdvocacyEstablish and maintain strong relationships with tribal governments, health
agencies, and community organizations.
Serve as a cultural advocate to ensure services are inclusive and respectful oftribal traditions, values, and healing practices.
Act as a liaison between tribal communities and Pinnacle Treatment Centers toenhance collaboration and service integration.
Program Development & CoordinationAssist in the development and implementation of culturally competent mental
health and SUD programs tailored to tribal populations.
Identify barriers to care and recommend strategies to improve access andretention in treatment.
Support tribal communities in developing wellness initiatives, preventionprograms, and harm reduction efforts.
Education & TrainingProvide training to teammates on Indigenous perspectives, historical trauma,
and culturally appropriate care.
Develop and share resources that promote culturally informed mental health and SUD support.Facilitate discussions and workshops on destigmatizing mental health and substance use within tribal communities.Case Management & Client SupportAssist Indigenous individuals and families in navigating behavioral health services, including referrals and care coordination.
Advocate for tribal patients in accessing appropriate treatment and recovery support.Work with the medical and clinical teams to integrate traditional healing practices into treatment plans when appropriate.Data Collection & ReportingGather feedback from tribal communities to assess needs and service effectiveness.
Collaborate with leadership to track outcomes and adjust programs as needed.Ensure compliance with tribal, state, and federal regulations related to behavioral health services.Other duties as assignedJoin our team. Join our mission.
