Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time, in-person social worker position is available to support student welfare and develop positive social and emotional outcomes within a school setting. This contract role is based in Waterford, MI, and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students lives by addressing individual and group needs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct assessments and provide counseling services to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention plans
  • Connect students and families with community resources to support academic and personal success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to monitor student progress and update care plans
  • Maintain accurate confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards

Desired Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Social Worker
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse populations
  • Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize tasks efficiently
