TRI Transmission and Bearing Corp. is seeking full time all around machinists for our first shift : Positions are available for motivated detail oriented individuals with exceptional communication skills and project follow through skills to work on Power Generation Bearings & Rotating Elements. Applicant must have experience with small to large parts. Applicant must be confident with conventional lathes, mills, and general machine shop tools and practices. CNC a plus. Welding fabrication experience a plus. Large assembly experience and or high mechanical aptitude a plus.

Applicants must be able to read, comprehend, and work from blue prints, written or oral directives, must be able to inspect own work using a variety of common machine shop inspection tools and methods.

Applicant must be able to hold + / - .0002 Tolerances and be able to identify and work through critical procedures. Plenty of over-time is available. Competitive pay and benefits, Individual family health, vacation. Turbo Research is an equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities :

• Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
• Modify parts and materials to improve overall production
• Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery
• Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
