Translator

Overview

This position may be onsite or remote.

The Work :

The translator will provide translation services for individuals with a language barrier. Translation will consist of but not limited to Education, legal, Medical, Environmental, and Social Services, etc.

This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

• Accurately translate spoken work situations like lectures, conversations, and meetings.
• Utilize technology to transcribe spoken English in some settings.
• Read original documents and translate them into the language required.
• Edit translated versions.
• Be sensitive to the culture of the original languages and the target languages during the translation process.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

USD $45.00 - USD $65.00 / Hr.
