Position Summary :
Progressive Turnout Project (PTP) seeks applicants for up to twelve Fellows Program Coordinator roles for the 2022 election cycle who are passionate about coaching and training staff placed on the campaigns of PTP endorsed candidates in federal and state legislative races. This position will be based remotely or Chicago, IL. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, interviews for this position will be scheduled virtually. This position will require travel as needed.
Reporting to the Regional Fellows Program Manager, the Fellows Program Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and management of Progressive Turnout Project’s Fellows program, including placing Fellows with campaigns, providing weekly training, making sure Fellows are completing reports, and holding cohort and 1 : 1 meetings. This will also include onboarding, training and coaching Fellows, and troubleshooting miscellaneous issues as they arise. The scope of this position includes the project management of the Fellows Program, and oversight for fellows who are working directly with the endorsed candidates’ campaigns. The duties of this position are subject to modification in response to program or organizational needs.
The Fellows Program Coordinator is responsible for implementing and executing the planned Fellows Program. Their focus will solely be on the implementation side of this project, such as onboarding, project managing, training, and coaching Fellows. This position does not include the strategic design of the Fellows program, which has been already completed.
