Our mission is to enrich the lives of children, families, and seniors by offering education, housing, employment, and community services. Position Overview The Group Worker will provide supervision and support for after-school and summer programming at PS330Q. This role involves assisting Group Leaders in implementing enrichment activities such as homework help, arts & crafts, sports, health and fitness, nutrition, dance, and STEM education. The Group Worker will ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for youth participants. Responsibilities Supervise participants to ensure their health, safety, and well-being. Assist Group Leaders in planning and facilitating program activities. Provide support with homework help, tutoring, and enrichment activities. Maintain program documentation (attendance, sign-in / out sheets, incident reports). Support the collection of participant and parent surveys. Help maintain equipment, supplies, and program space. Actively participate in trainings, meetings, and special events. Report to the Program Director for delegated tasks and guidance. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required (proof must be provided during hiring). Prior experience in youth development strongly preferred. Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to working with children and families. Ability to work cooperatively with peers and professional staff. Must successfully complete OCFS / PETS background clearance. Must provide a recent medical exam including proof of PPD test at hire.
