The description below is based on Baker McKenzie's Compensation Practice Group needs : a staff attorney to reside in one of our offices (San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, New York, or Chicago). The North America Compensation Practice Group provides clients with domestic and international counseling on compensation arrangements, with an emphasis on global share plans. We assist multinational companies with designing, implementing, and maintaining equity incentive and other compensation arrangements, and collaborate with colleagues globally to stay current on tax and regulatory developments affecting these arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Advise on executive compensation, employee benefits, and other incentive and compensation arrangements.
• Design, implement, and maintain equity incentive and other compensation arrangements for multinational clients.
• Provide domestic and international counseling on compensation-related matters with a global perspective.
• Stay current on U.S. and non-U.S. securities, tax, currency control, employment, and related laws affecting compensation arrangements.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Baker McKenzie's global offices to address regulatory developments affecting compensation programs.
