Job Description

As a Security Officer- Badge Access Patrol in Lewisville, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to a financial institution location, you will play a key role in access control, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for clients and staff. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, conducting routine patrols, and providing exceptional customer service. By remaining visible and approachable, you will help foster a welcoming atmosphere while supporting the security-related needs of the location. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
  • Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and / or clients with inquiries and directions as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and / or irregularities according to company and client guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and onsite personnel to maintain a secure environment for all occupants.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
