Lifeguard Position

The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all park guests in aquatic areas. This role requires strong attention to safety, adherence to lifeguard protocols, and excellent guest service skills. Lifeguards must be vigilant, professional, and prepared to respond to emergencies while creating a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Guest & Patron Safety :

• Monitor aquatic areas and prevent injuries by proactively communicating with guests and eliminating hazards.
• Enforce all safety and departmental rules while maintaining a polite and professional demeanor.
• Educate guests on safety protocols and ensure all posted warning signs are adhered to.

This role requires the ability to see, hear, and communicate clearly, as well as full dexterity and agility to maneuver in tight spaces. It involves standing and walking for long periods, bending, squatting, gripping small objects, and pushing or pulling heavy items. The work environment includes high noise levels and may involve working outdoors in various weather conditions. The position requires availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
