The Progress Center is seeking individuals to be a part of our growing Children's Services Team. Children Services provides in-home supports assisting children with intellectual disabilities within the home and / or community. Qualities include good communication, a desire to make a difference, enjoy working with children, and the ability to function independently while performing job responsibilities.
Responsibilities Include :
- Provide in-home support services to children and their families in the home and community settings with particular emphasis on behavior management, skill development, physical development and activities of daily living.
- Follow the individual treatment plan and accurately document services provided to the child and family.
- Participate in scheduled monthly staff meetings.
Key Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED Required. (Higher Education is Preferred)Valid driver's licenseA reliable vehicle with current auto insuranceExperience working with children with autism or intellectual disabilities (Desired, not required)A positive attitude, high energy level and creativityCompensation :
Part-time positions availableHourly wage based on education, experience, and certification$0.50 / hour wage increase once employee receives Behavioral Health Professional certificationThe Progress center offers competitive wages, mileage reimbursement and company paid trainings as needed.
