We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As an Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience, driving sales through effective upselling techniques, and ensuring that our store maintains a welcoming and organized environment.

• Duties
• Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and support their shopping needs.
• Utilize upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance the customer experience.
• Assist customers with product demonstrations and provide detailed information about merchandise.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively communicate with customers.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions and returns.
• Supervise daily activities on the sales floor, ensuring that all associates are adhering to company standards.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
• Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining product displays to ensure an appealing shopping environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Qualifications
• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is advantageous for managing transactions accurately.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling cash and processing payments efficiently.
• Ability to supervise team members and contribute positively to a collaborative work environment.
• Experience with product demonstrations is a plus, showcasing your ability to educate customers about products effectively.
• A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting merchandise is highly valued.
