Mill Operator - G & L Tube, LLC - Cookeville, TN

Job Description :

• Mill Operators are responsible for the setup and operation of welded tube mill
• Responsible for quality, production, scrap, safety, and routine maintenance
• Adjusts basic tooling and the holding fixtures on machines
• Performs visual inspection of parts to identify burrs or damage to established standards
• Loads and unloads assigned machines; prepares raw materials, follows loading procedures, and removes parts from the machine
• Observes machine operation to detect part defects or machine malfunction and reports problems to supervisor

Qualifications :

The first priority is safety, then to ensure that the tubing being produced meets the specifications as required by our customers, as well as internal requirements, while maintaining established safety procedures.
