HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

Reporting to Senior Manager, Marketing & Public Relations, this role will support the planning and execution of the marketing and public relations campaigns for the USA market including communications and media relations, media programs and co-ops, as well as digital and social marketing initiatives, all aimed at elevating positive sentiment for Hong Kong as a world-class travel destination and ultimately driving conversion.

• Assist in building awareness of Hong Kong’s travel experiences and offerings amongst media, KOLs and consumers through strategic partnerships and ongoing relationship management.
• Manage brand, digital, social and PR creative assets; prepare communications materials, social media copy and press releases.
• Prepare and support HKTB and external spokespeople / ambassadors to ensure delivery of on-brand messages across media appearances.
• Liaise with digital and PR agencies on campaign and media planning and execution, including programming, press releases, pitching, newsletters, and other communications materials.
• Prepare or coordinate with agencies to deliver timely and accurate PR, digital, and social campaign reports, including weekly and monthly updates.
• Assist in organizing media and consumer-facing events both in the USA and abroad.
• Assist in managing campaign budgets, contract negotiations, service agreements purchase orders and payments.
• Contribute to identifying new PR and marketing opportunities to support HKTB’s ongoing business development.
• Undertake any other duties / special assignments as directed by supervisor.
