Lilly recently acquired a state-of-the-art parenteral manufacturing site located in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. This position serves as a key financial business partner at the site, focusing on monthly reporting, forecasting, planning (long-range plan and business plan) and business decision analysis. The ability to influence leadership and present complex financial information to non-financial personnel is essential. This role also manages local and major capital for the site.
Overview / Key Objectives
Planning / Forecasting / Reporting for the Pleasant Prairie Plant : coordinate processes for long range plan, quarterly forecasts, and annual business plan for a brand-new manufacturing site; present monthly financial results and explain main drivers of business performance to local and plant management; annual product costing for key products; site local and major capital management reporting and related analytics; implement and establish best practices and create procedure guidelines for new site development; perform financial analysis for plant operations and provide decision support on operational and technical matters; monthly financial closing; preparation of accounting journal vouchers and documentation for financial closings; provide guidance on financial policies, internal controls, costing, and accounting matters; prepare annual business plan financials; prepare monthly OPEX reports and analyze variances; serve as SOX coordinator; support management and business partners on key initiatives (expense control, strategic sourcing, materials pricing, monthly metrics, headcount reporting, operational opportunities); create and establish new hire finance training material.
Capital Controllership responsibilities : work with site engineering resources to develop the site capital plan and monitor site capital spending; local resource for capital spending and fixed asset policies; depreciation forecasting.
