Job Title : Service / Field Electrician

Location : Conroe, TX (Travel to customer sites required)

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM, with a possibility of overtime based on work load.

Travel : Company vehicle provided for customer site visits

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and professional Service / Field Electrician to join our team. This role requires someone with strong technical expertise in control systems who can confidently serve as the face of the company while working directly with customers. The ideal candidate will bring a high level of professionalism, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle themselves with 100% confidence in any customer-facing situation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Travel to customer sites around Houston Gulf Coast area to install, service, and troubleshoot electrical control systems.
  • Work with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, soft starts, discrete & analog circuits, and relay logic.
  • Perform system startups, commissioning, and diagnostics.
  • Provide clear communication and professional representation while on-site with clients.
  • Document service work and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal design and fabrication teams to ensure seamless customer support.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company procedures.

Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience as an industrial or service electrician.
  • Strong working knowledge PLC's and how to troubleshoot them, programming and troubleshooting of VFDs, soft starts, understands discrete & analog circuits, relay logic and how to read schematics.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to represent the company with professionalism at all times.
  • Highly dependable, self-motivated, and confident in handling customer needs independently.
