About the Role :

Sinai Chicago is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Ophthalmologist to join our growing healthcare team. As a key member of our hospitals medical staff, you will provide comprehensive eye care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide variety of eye conditions and diseases, and a commitment to serving our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough eye exams and assessments, diagnosing a wide range of eye conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and more.
• Perform surgical procedures as necessary, such as cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, and other ophthalmologic procedures.
• Provide patient education on eye health, preventative care, and treatment options.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings, educational activities, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in ophthalmology and integrate new techniques into clinical practice.
