We currently have an opening for Design Drafter.

DEPARTMENT : ENGINEERING

REPORTS TO : DIRECTOR of ENGINEERING

FUNCTION : Use AutoCAD and Inventor 3D, to design, layout, detail, and update pressure vessel designs per customer specifications.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Prepare new drawings per the design guidelines.
• Update old drawings per the design guidelines.
• Design per our manufacturing capabilities.
• Interpret quote and customer specifications for Product Design.
• Work with customers on questions and clarifications for orders.
• Prepare and send drawing approval packages to the customer.
• Follow and maintain all drawing and departmental standards and ISO procedures.
• Prepare engineering change orders and engineering change requests.
• Enter data and maintain the parts in the ERP manufacturing system.
• As assigned, train new personnel.
• Answer questions as generated by plant employees, supervisors, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
