About The Position

Job Title : Speech and Language Pathologist

Profession : Speech and Language Pathologists

Shift : Days

Hours per Shift : 8 hours, M-F, 9 AM - 5 : 30 PM

Experience : 2+ years pediatric SLP experience, pediatric experience

License : State Licenses : Michigan

Certifications : BLS (AHA)

Must-Have : Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology, able to obtain BLS prior to start

Description :

Under general supervision, responsible for providing speech, language, and dysphagia services to patients.

This includes evaluations, planning individual patient care programs, treatments, and home programs.

Consistently use an outward mindset and put forth exemplary effort in accomplishing goals and objectives.

Perform patient evaluations and administer treatment for speech language and swallowing disorders.

Design and revise plans of care and goals.

Provide written and / or verbal reports to physicians.

Complete documentation according to unit standards and regulatory requirements.

Participate in in-service education programs.

Keep abreast of current trends and developments in speech and swallowing disorders.

Participate in related activities such as patient care committees, case conferences, personnel orientation, community education projects, and in-service education.

Attend staff meetings.
