As a Staff Product Designer, you’ll join a deeply experienced and committed team to shape end-to-end journeys, raise the bar for clarity, quality, and delight, and redefine how people interact with their money.

What We Look For (Qualifications) Exceptional Craft & Visual Skills : keen eye for detail, design systems, and interaction patterns that elevate user experiences.

Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 7+ years of product design experience for this role.

Strong Product Sense : understanding user needs, business goals, and technical constraints; able to balance them in design decisions.

Strategic Influencer : ability to partner with senior leaders to align on big bets.

Systems Thinker : creates frameworks, systems, and scalable processes to increase design impact.

Compensation and Benefits Pay Grade - N

Equity Grade - 12

Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, stipends for health, wellness, tech, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents).

USA base pay ranges per year : CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT : $190,000 - $240,000; all other U.S. states : $169,000 - $219,000.

Work Environment Affirm is remote-first; the majority of roles are remote and you can work from almost anywhere within the country of employment. Some roles may require working from an Affirm office; a limited number remain office-based due to job responsibilities.
