Commercial Transactions Paralegal

📍 Location : Hybrid – Onsite at least 3 days / week (preferably 4), with 1–2 days remote

📆 Contract Duration : Through December 31, 2025

đź’µ Pay Rate : $60 / hr

About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Transactions Paralegal to join our Legal Department on a contract basis. This role supports the Commercial Transactions team by reviewing, drafting, and organizing contracts and related documentation. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth business operations and compliance, working closely with attorneys and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, and edit various commercial agreements (vendor, service, supply, licensing, confidentiality).
  • Support attorneys in managing the contract lifecycle : intake, review, redlines, negotiation, and execution.
  • Maintain contract templates, playbooks, and resources.
  • Track key contract terms, obligations, and deadlines.
  • Conduct legal and business research on relevant commercial and regulatory topics.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for due diligence and information gathering.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives.
  • Prepare correspondence, summaries, and reports.
  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate logistics.
  • Monitor shared inboxes and triage incoming requests.
  • Develop and update department forms, checklists, and reference materials.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably with a focus on commercial transactions or contracts.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management tools.
  • Strong drafting and document organization skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and follow-through.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred.
