Job Title : Quality Control Inspector II

Reports To : Quality Manager

Location : Theodore, AL

Quality Control Inspector II Overview

Quality Control Inspector II will be responsible for the inspection of machined, fabricated, painted, reworked, and / or repaired parts or assemblies to customer design, blueprints, and standards. Inspections will include receiving inspections of materials or parts, in-process inspections in manufacturing and welding, nondestructive testing (NDT) of welds, coating inspections such as Thermal Spray Zinc (TSZ) and multi-part paint schemes, verification of customer-owned property, and outgoing verification of product. Quality Control Inspector II will also be able to perform process audits when required, following the company’s ISO 9001 : 2015 Quality Management System processes and internal audit forms. Quality Control Inspector II will report to the Quality Manager but will need to have the initiative and drive to work autonomously.
