Building Elements Install Coordinator

Position : Building Elements Install Coordinator

Location : Greensboro, North Carolina

Employment Type : Full-Time, 40 hours / week (overtime as required)

Allen Industries is seeking a Building Elements Install Coordinator to join our team. This role is central to ensuring the successful installation and servicing of our products by coordinating subcontractors and working closely with Project Managers to deliver quality results while maintaining efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate subcontractors for installations and site surveys based on requests from Project Managers.
  • Review job scopes to ensure clear instructions and expectations before installation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact during installations, resolving issues as they arise.
  • Confirm work is completed within scope, approve subcontractor invoices, and submit for payment.
  • Maintain accurate installation margins for each job and account.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Support timely billing, punch list completions, and site readiness confirmations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in alignment with project needs.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in the sign industry or a related project management role is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with JobScope software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings / specifications.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic mathematical skills.

    • Work Environment & Physical Demands

    This role is primarily office-based but may require light physical activity, including standing, walking between sites, and visual inspections. Employees must be able to sit for long periods, perform computer-based work, and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.

    Additional Details

  • Minimal travel required (up to 5%).
  • Standard office environment with occasional site visits.
