Flux Resources is seeking a Water and Environmental Market Leader to join one of our clients as a direct full-time employee. This position can be located in Seattle, Bellevue, Everett, Woodinville, Tacoma or Olympia.
Responsibilities
Serve as the Puget Sound Region WEBU Market Leader and as a WEBU Senior Leader—with primary focus on business development and sales to help build and grow the WEBU practice areas of Water / Wastewater Infrastructure, Surface Water Resources and Environmental Planning and Compliance in Washington.Work in a highly flexible, team-oriented environment with responsibilities for business development, sales, financial performance and client satisfaction, deliverables and schedules.Grow the WEBU staff presence in Washington with potential to manage, coach, and mentor staff in professional, technical, and business development efforts.Develop and execute market strategy with Client Team Leaders and Senior Leaders in the RegionDetermine the strategic allocation of business development resources to achieve Regional sales and revenue goalsChampion visibility and branding within the RegionServe as Principal-In-Charge or Project Manager with responsibility for all aspects of project development and delivery, including scoping, budgeting, contract negotiations, and project executionServe as a Client Leader with business development, client management and client profitability goalsEngage in recruiting and retention efforts to hire the best talent and support processes that encourage staff longevityServe as a project pursuit champion, when applicable, and assist in preparing proposals and participating in interviewsIncrease company visibility in Washington through active involvement, presentations and leadership positions with key industry organizations and related conferencesCollaborate with other senior leaders on strategic planning activitiesIdentify capital investments, strategic alliances, key hires, acquisitions and growth opportunitiesQualifications
Licensure, Certification and Education Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, Environmental Studies / Sciences or related fieldMinimum 15 years of experience with at least 10 years as a business development or group leaderProven track record of Water and Environment project wins in WashingtonProject management experience with documented success in project delivery for Water and Environment clients in WashingtonExcellent organizational, written and oral communication skillsBenefits
