We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to oversee and support key initiatives within a dynamic and mission-driven organization. This role will focus on managing data-driven projects, supporting evaluation efforts, and ensuring smooth execution of program operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise, a background in healthcare or public policy, and excellent communication skills.

Compensation : $53-$56 per hour.

Key Responsibilities of the Program Manager :

Documentation & Reporting

Collect and analyze metrics and data for energy and healthcare-related projects within the Lead By Example program.

Support benchmarking, evaluation, and ongoing performance monitoring.

Establish and maintain databases and tools to track project status, outcomes, and costs.

Organize data for inclusion in quarterly / annual reports, presentations, websites, and other communications.

Draft, update, and manage execution of program documentation, including MOUs, RFPs, and contract amendments.

Project Management

Schedule and attend weekly project meetings, taking clear and accurate minutes.

Facilitate discussions to ensure smooth project implementation.

Assist with review and approval of change orders, payment applications, and project updates.

Collaborate with consultants and leadership to troubleshoot challenges and maintain project timelines.

Provide project management for key tasks and objectives in implementing Section 5121 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 and any future reentry-related Medicaid authorities.

Qualifications of the Program Manager :

Master’s degree in healthcare, public policy, or a related field strongly preferred.

a related field with 3-5 years of experience in project management and / or public administration.

Candidates with experience working with correctional facilities and / or Medicaid programs will be preferred.

Prior project management experience required; healthcare project management experience strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of behavioral healthcare policy, Medicaid, and managed care programs.

Familiarity with Rhode Island’s overdose prevention initiatives and stakeholder community is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to apply evaluation methods, evidence-based practices, and data-driven decision-making.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.

Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong analytical and organizational abilities.

Strategic thinker with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
