Social Media Manager Job at Mirabai Devi Foundation in Encinitas

We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media volunteer to help manage the creation and amplification of the message of peace and global cooperation leading up to and during a virtual global peace summit. The summit is in cooperation with Echoes of One and will be held on Sunday, September 21st. This is a unique opportunity to keep your existing skills current in social media management while contributing to a meaningful global cause. Volunteer must reside in North America to ensure alignment with time zone requirements and technical support considerations.

Responsibilities

Oversee the creation, scheduling and publishing of engaging content across platforms

Manage the promotions of speakers, panels and key messages of the summit

Monitor engagement of comments / messages in a timely manner

Manage and collaborate with the media and outreach team to develop campaign strategies

Oversee the live posts or shared updates during the summit

Manage the facilitation of Live stream Zoom to YouTube

Qualifications :

• Experience with major social media platforms
• Experience with live stream capabilities from Zoom to YouTube
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Creativity and ability to craft compelling messages
• Experience with Canva or other content creation tools is a plus
• Passion for global peace and harmony, and cultivating unity across all cultures
