Packer / Laser Operator

Location

Grand Rapids, MI

Pay :

  • 1st Shift - 18 / hr

Shift :

1st - 7 am to 3 : 30 pm Monday - Friday

Job Summary :

Performs manual labor along a production line. Responsible for packing quality products. Operates and troubleshoots laser, production line machinery and computers.

Responsibilities

  • Follow packer / laser operator work instructions
  • Operate production line machinery and computers
  • Operate laser equipment to perform standardized repetitive operations
  • Accurately utilizes data
  • Used measuring devices effectively
  • Troubleshoot production line machinery
  • Responsible for quality control, making adjustments as necessary to produce products within specification. Reject product outside of specifications.
  • Complete daily production logs
  • Perform preventative maintenance on laser
  • Clean and maintain work area
  • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
  • Assist in repair work
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Key Qualifications

  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery
  • High School Diploma / GED and or 6 months of related work experience or training
  • Ability to stand, bend, walk, lift and carry throughout the entire shift
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
