About The Position

License : Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner, Registered Respiratory Therapist

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS

Must-Have : Prior NICU / pediatric experience

Description :

Seeking an experienced respiratory therapist for a high-volume ER and Level 1 Trauma Center.

Candidates must have proficiency in a Level 3 NICU and experience with all treatment modalities.

Epic experience is required.

Familiarity with all modes of mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, and nitric oxide delivery is essential.

Experience with Servo I, V60, Nitric, 3100A, 3100B, and Jet is required.

Responsibilities include aerosol setup and management, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, high-frequency oscillators, and mechanical ventilation weaning.

Candidates must be comfortable with pediatric critical care and performing tracheostomy care / management.

Ability to interpret arterial blood gases and troubleshoot high-pressure alarms is necessary.

Position requires working weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Compliance with infection control protocols and continuous professional development is expected.

This position offers an opportunity to work with neonates, infants, children, and adolescents.
