Fabrication and Manufacturing Planning Manager

As we expand, we're seeking a Fabrication and Manufacturing Planning Manager to lead daily operations across our facility, optimize production planning, and ensure every attraction we deliver meets the highest safety and compliance standards.

The Role

This hands-on leadership position will oversee production operations, scheduling, and manufacturing planning, while also supporting project execution and communication with internal teams. Reporting to the COO, you will be at the center of coordination—connecting sales, design, engineering, procurement, and operations to ensure flawless delivery.

You'll supervise production teams, manage equipment efficiency (including CNC and other machinery), and ensure smooth material and part flow through the plants. You'll also play a key role in project planning and cost estimation.

What You'll Do

Production & Planning

  • Lead daily operations across sewing, wood CNC machining, upholstery, assembly, and logistics.
  • Supervise team leaders and ensure goals for safety, quality, and internal cost (consumption and time spent) are consistently met.
  • Organize inventory management to prevent shortages and overstocks.
  • Monitor material flow and inventory, minimizing shortages and waste.
  • Oversee CNC requirements and maximize machine efficiency.
  • Develop and manage production schedules, coordinating priorities with Sales and Project Manager.

Quality & Compliance

  • Implement and sustain a continuous improvement culture (Lean, 5S, TPM, Visual Management, Health & Safety).
  • Drive quality systems and ensure compliance with our company standards.
  • Incorporate real-time feedback from installers and production to improve product quality and processes.
  • Project & Cross-Functional Support

  • Partner with Project Manager to align manufacturing and installation timelines.
  • Contribute to take-off meetings, project reviews, and costing processes.
  • Support coordination of logistics, ensuring projects stay on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Maintain effective communication with leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership & Team Development

  • Coach and develop production supervisors and technicians, building a positive, accountable culture.
  • Support staffing requirements and ensure an orderly, safe, and efficient work environment.
  • Report on key KPIs (productivity, quality, costs, adherence to plan) and take action to drive improvement.
  • What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years' experience as a Production Manager or a Plant Supervisor.
  • Experience in factory scale-up, new equipment startup, and industrialization of products
  • Proven track record in Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery, automation / robotics, and part flow coordination is a bonus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to coach and influence teams.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks.
  • Organizational agility : detail-oriented yet able to see the big picture.
  • Curious, self-motivated, customer-focused, and ready to be visible on the shop floor every day.
