American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in San Angelo, Texas.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with at least ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications and strong operating room experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital operating room environment
  • Covers general, neuro, ortho, trauma, and robotics surgical cases
  • Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 6 : 30 to 19 : 00
  • Includes weekday, weekend, and holiday call requirements
  • Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for a variety of surgical cases
  • Must be willing to cover surgeries in general, neuro, orthopedic, trauma, and robotics specialties
  • Holiday and weekend coverage is required as assigned
  • All required certifications must be submitted for consideration

  • Active RN license in hand required for consideration
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Nursys verification required
  • Five years of OR RN experience preferred, but strong candidates with specialty experience may be considered
  • Travel nursing experience highly preferred
  • Provide 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years of employment
  • Candidates must reside at least 110 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • Ability to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer or have a plan in place
