Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher position is available to support elementary students in an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the current school year, working closely with students, families, and educational teams to meet individual learning needs.

Location : Manteno, IL (Elementary School Setting)

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students specific learning goals and disabilities
• Utilize differentiated instruction strategies to acmodate diverse learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and parents to provide prehensive support and ensure student progress
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior, monitoring growth and adjusting plans accordingly
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere that encourages independence and social development
