Warehouse Assistant

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for picking and packing parts and tools consistently, handling 150-200 orders per hour. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is crucial to ensure orders are shipped accurately and timely.

Pay : $17HR - 18 / HR

Shift : 8am-5pm (Mon-Fri)

Location : Franklin, TN

Responsibilities

In the morning, unload and label products received from overseas vendors and load them into the auto shipping machine or send them to the coating department.

Load tools made by the onsite internal department into the auto shipper.

In the afternoon, laser engrave tools / orders, apply batch numbers, and manually process orders that could not be auto shipped.

Double-check quantities, pack orders, insure shipments, process credit card payments for shipping, log invoices, and use ERP (SAP) and FedEx / UPS software to ship orders.

Lift up to 50lbs occasionally and stand / walk for the duration of the shift.

Essential Skills

Experience in packing, inventory management, and packaging.

Proficiency with RF scanners, loading, picking, order picking, shipping and receiving.

Data entry and order selection skills.

Experience with UPS / FedEx software for label printing and packing.

Computer skills, including using an ERP system like SAP to enter shipping information, obtain rates, and print labels.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse, pick / pack, or production environment.

Bonus skills include knowledge of UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager.

Computer skills with an ERP system like SAP are beneficial.

Training will be provided to fill any skill gaps.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and organized, providing an excellent atmosphere for productivity. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 / hr.
