Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Associate Engineer EHS / Engineer EHS for the Palmdale, California manufacturing and integration site and associated sites in the Antelope Valley. This position will be part of the Environmental, Safety, Health and Medical (ESHM) team of professionals and will focus on supporting the Water Quality Program across the facility. The position can be filled at either level based on qualifications.

Key Roles and responsibilities include :

Schedule and assist onsite vendor sampling activity

Manage water quality data metrics as required

Compose and submit all relative compliance reporting as required

Writes and updates water quality permits and procedures

Prepares environmental impact statements and applies for all new permits and renewals

Communicates with Federal, State, and Local regulatory agencies, as required

Engaged in project reviews and provides regulatory requirements as needed

Support site environmental compliance and sustainability programs as needed

Associate Engineer EHS

Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of experience.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to solve complex problems by : actively seeking information and new ideas from a variety of sources; consistently looking for novel ways to solve problems; mastering unfamiliar information, tasks and situations quickly and effectively.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Engineer EHS

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of occupational health and safety or related experience

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to solve complex problems by : actively seeking information and new ideas from a variety of sources; consistently looking for novel ways to solve problems; mastering unfamiliar information, tasks and situations quickly and effectively.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Salary Range : $67,400.00 - $101,000.00Salary Range 2 : $81,300.00 - $121,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
