Armed Security Guard - Government Site - Full Time

What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site protocols.Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats within the government facility environment.What We're Looking For :

Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and / or military roles.Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.Possess a valid California weapons permit with a 9 millimeter caliber endorsement.Must be at least 21 years of age.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
