Description :

  • Check-in patients;
  • Check out patients.
  • Provides assistance for patients and / or family members as needed;
  • Always provide excellent customer service
  • Consistently monitors the schedules to ensure all patients are checked promptly;
  • Verify patients’ insurances in advance to ensure proper coverage.
  • Assesses and evaluates patient flow in the lobbies of all locations;
  • Acts as a liaison between the healthcare team and the patients
  • Provides technical support for patients in accessing the patient portal;
  • Monitors turnaround time for medical records requests.
  • Reviews future appointments to minimize errors.
  • Processes medical record requests
  • Monitors incoming direct messages from outside providers and imports the documents to the patients’ electronic charts;
  • Monitors and ensures all co-payments and outstanding balances are collected
  • Adhere to HIPAA standards

Requirements :

  • Patient service-oriented;
  • Capacity for high-volume patient interaction
  • Good communication skills
  • High school education or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Previous medical front office experience, preferably two years
  • Organizational skills and accuracy required.
  • Data entry and telephone communications
  • Ability to multitask
