job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAdministering medications, collecting specimens, and providing clinical treatments. Documenting patient care accurately. Monitoring and communicating patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families. Assisting patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, nutrition, and mobility. Collaborating across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers and discharge planning. Evaluating learning needs and providing education to patients and families. Advocating for the physical and emotional well-being of patients. Floating to other departments as needed to maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios. Managing ventilators, CPAP / BiPAP, and Vapotherms. Titrating and maintaining critical drips, understanding their indications and side effects. Passing a rhythm recognition test within 90 days of hire / transfer. Associate's degree required Bachelor's degree preferred 1-2 years of clinical experience is strongly preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire ACLS required within 1 year of hire PALS required within 1 year of hire Handle with Care training within 30 days of orientation, kept annually Current RN license in the State of Kentucky.

Position Summary :
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Spring View Hospital thrives on teamwork and effective communication, essential for providing specialized care to critically ill patients. Our 7-bed unit ensures that patients receive optimal medical attention and support.
As an RN, you will demonstrate professional development and clinical competency while utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
