Base pay range : $20.00 / hr - $24.00 / hr

Location : San Diego, CA. Start date : ASAP. Reports to : Executive Chef. Category : Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Hourly.

We are seeking an experienced, professional Line Cook to join BoujieMana. You will prepare high-quality meals that meet the chef's expectations. You will maintain food preparation areas, stock food products, ensure proper storage and cooking of food, and maintain sanitation standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and multi-tasking skills and will contribute to customer satisfaction and restaurant growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of BoujieMana
• Inspect, clean, and maintain food preparation areas, equipment, and surfaces to ensure safe and sanitary practices
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, fryers, roasters, and other kitchen equipment to ensure correct cooking
• Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking quality, rotating stock, and tracking items
• Know and comply with the restaurant's standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, policies and procedures
• Maintain the quality of products served
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food at line stations to support service
• Handle, store, and rotate all food products according to restaurant policies

Qualifications & Skills
