Your impact
- Turn non-urgent work requests into clear, executable job plans after on-site reviews.
- Forecast labor hours, craft mix, materials, parts, equipment, and special tooling to ensure safe, efficient completion.
- Mine technical sources—drawings, schematics, specs, OEM manuals, equipment histories, and knowledgebase—to build robust plans.
- Confirm part availability before jobs are scheduled and secure any auxiliary equipment needed.
- Own the backlog : prioritize effectively and keep the Ready Backlog at ≥ 80%.
- Lead weekly planning / scheduling sessions with Production to set priorities and communicate status or changes.
- Publish a Weekly Technician Schedule that uses 100% of available labor across PM and planned work.
- Leverage maintenance metrics and reviews to continuously improve planning and scheduling outcomes.
- Maintain organized records and files to enable meaningful maintenance analysis and reporting.
- Drive CMMS adoption and data integrity; train users and ensure consistent utilization.

Must-have
Associate degree in a technical field with 1–3 years of maintenance planning / scheduling; and / or 5–10 years as a machine repair technician, or an equivalent combination.Experience within an industrial manufacturing setting.Electro-mechanical aptitude.Competence with computers, CMMS / maintenance platforms, and Microsoft Office.Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.Ability to cultivate positive professional relationships.Nice-to-have
Interest in developing leadership capabilities.Hands-on experience building job plans, scheduling, and supporting work execution.Project management, including capital projects.Certifications : CMRP, Green Belt, STS.Competency profile
