Job Description

We are currently hiring a R&D Sensory Scientist in Boston, MA .

• A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite 3 days a week

The Sensory Scientist I will collect information about the attributes that amplifies the consumer's love of profiles, and to use this information to help guide the development of the highest quality and the most enjoyable products. Doing this through excellent execution of consumer testing and a keen understanding of panel training. This person will help guide new Product Development with organoleptic learnings, and contribute to the reporting of consumer data. Scientific focus, an attention to detail, prioritization and project management skills are essential.

At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $59,500 and $106,000. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
