job_description.job_card.job_descriptionFully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locations Collect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specifications Determine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costs Gather bids and negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible prices Create and submit estimates to project managers Budget and forecast using appropriate software Career driven individual who seeks opportunity within an organization that can help you develop personally and professionally Experience preparing estimates for construction rebuild projects and markets construction services to the customer Knowledge of production and processing Experience with raw material, waste, quality control, costs and techniques for maximizing project revenue Knowledge of building and construction (includes materials and methods needed to complete projects successfully) Ability to read and understand project specifications, plans and blueprints Knowledge of design technique, principles and tools to complete project Knowledge of the principals involved in showing, promoting, and selling services Outstanding communication skills Provides customer service that is above and beyond needs and expectations Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong problem-solving skills Works well with a team and individually Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Punctual and dependable Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, or related software Can operate a smart device Takes pride in their uniform and what it stands for A safe driver with a clean driving record Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) is preferred Previous experience as an Estimator is preferred Ability to forecast building costs and knowledge of estimation formulas Strong mathematical and analytical skills Skilled in relevant software Proficiency with Xactimate estimating software Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills Prior experience with TPA (Sedgewick, Contractor Connection) a PLUS IICRC certifications are a PLUS Bachelor's (Preferred) Insurance restoration industry experience : 3+ years Pass a background check & drug test A valid driver’s license
